How can I pay for my order?
We're flexible and can accept payments in multiple currencies via Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Afterpay, Zip Pay (AUD & NZD only).
I've just paid for my order. What happens next?
Check your inbox! You'll receive an email confirming your order is complete, and a second email with tracking information when it's been shipped out direct from our NY store.
All orders placed before 1pm (Mon-Fri) will ship that day. All orders placed after 1pm (Mon-Fri) and on weekends will be dispatched the next business day.
Returns & Exchanges
What is the return policy?
We want you to love your new leathery goodness, so we'll exchange or refund your purchase so long as it's returned direct to our store in New York within 60 days (but who's counting!) of ordering, and still in its original unused condition (with any tags, dust bag etc).
For change of mind returns, you'll just need to cover the shipping charges.
If your item arrived with an issue or was incorrect (yikes - so sorry!), we will cover the cost of the shipping label.

My item is faulty, what do I do?
First of all, we're super sorry about that! Please email contact@statusanxiety.com with your order details and an image of the fault and your order number we'll take care of it for you right away.
I bought a faulty item from a stockist. Can you help?
We'll certainly try to! Please email contact@statusanxiety.com with your order details and an image of the fault and we'll review it and get back to you asap with what to do.You may need to head back to the stockist you purchased the item from with valid proof of purchase for them to assess their warranty terms. But if for any reason that is not possible we'll do our very best to help you out (it's the kind of people we are).

We ship all over the world excluding the below countries.

Will I need to be home to accept delivery?
Our orders are shipped 'signature required' to ensure safe delivery of your item so yes! you will need to be home to accept delivery.
However, it's easy to change this setting, just use your tracking number to log into the chosen carrier and follow the prompts.
Can I track my order?
Sure can... you'll receive an email after your order's picked up from our warehouse with all your tracking info.
Leather
Do I Need To Treat My Leather?
Our leather comes pre-treated to provide a high level colour fastness and protection from staining. However to extend the life of your leather and keep it looking its best we do recommend using our leather protectant -found here.
Where Is Your Leather Sourced From?
We use predominantly premium Brazilian and Italian leather. Status Anxiety leather is a bi-product of the food industry (the majority of our raw hides are from the USA) and sourced from suppliers with strict ethical and environmental production standards. My Leather Is A Bit Dirty, Can I Clean It?
Yes! Just grab a warm damp cloth to gently wipe away the dirt. For a better clean use leather wipes. Always let your leather dry away from direct sunlight. If that doesn't do the trick, it might be time to let a leather specialist work their magic.
How Do I Clean The Lining In My Bag/Wallet?
Cleaning the lining is pretty straight forward, just follow the below simple steps:
1. Start by pulling the lining out of the bag (like a tongue)
2. Then using either fabric cleaner or hot soapy water on a damp sponge, give the lining a good wipe over (try to avoid getting the leather too wet)
3. Dry the lining with a hair dryer or hang it from the lining (still out of the body of the bag) in a warm, dry area out of direct sunlight
Terms
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 1pm (Mon-Fri) will ship that same day direct from our New York store.
Orders placed after 1pm (Mon-Fri) and on weekends will be dispatched the next business day direct from our New York store.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Rest assured we spend our days chasing carriers to meet the delivery timeframes but, hard to believe we agree, they don't always listen and delays caused by the postal service do happen from time to time. If delivery is attempted and nobody is available to accept the parcel, in most cases it should be held at your local Post Office for a period of time. If you are not contactable and your parcel is unable to be delivered, it will be returned to us and we’ll then contact you to arrange alternate delivery.
Damaged or missing goods
We take great care to ensure that products are packed securely so they arrive at your door in perfect condition. As a result, any items damaged during delivery will be replaced upon receipt of the damaged goods to our postal address. Please note that if an item has been lost/stolen in transit, a replacement of the product will be organised at our discretion.

Correct information
Please check that you give us the correct delivery address at time of ordering as if it comes back to us we won't be happy chappies. We are however very nice people and we will resend your order to you (after checking with you for the correct address of course).
Gift cards
Status Anxiety gift cards can be redeemed both online and in store. Gift cards can't be transferred, refunded, returned or exchanged for cash. They also can't be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged or used without your permission. Use of our gift card means you're ok with these terms and conditions.
Discount codes
Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount code but can be used in conjunction with one of our gift cards.

We completely get the importance of your privacy and your concerns about the security of your personal information. Status Anxiety is committed to protecting your privacy and as such will not sell or share its customer details to anyone…EVER!
Information Security
Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you. For an order to be placed with us, we need to hold personal information including your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and credit/debit card details so that we can process and fulfil your order. To ensure this information is kept safe, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypts the information before it is sent to us.
Using Our Website
We may collect personal information from you when you use our website. This information may be collected by subscribing to us, completing an online form, entering reviews about our products or accepting an invitation from us.
Payment Security
All online payments are securely processed and handled by Shopify - they have smart people who set up the payment gateway on our site and make sure your information is protected at all times.

"Cookies'' are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not store or send any personally identifying information. Warranty
What is the warranty?
Status Anxiety products are made of quality material and constructed to last for a long, long time. In the unlikely event that you have an issue with a defect in material or workmanship within 12 months (or close to that!) of purchase we’ll repair or replace it with a new one and cover the postage to ship it back out to you!
The warranty applies to products used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended and doesn’t apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, or neglect. If you purchase directly from us online we can just look up your details in our system, but if you order from one of our retailers be sure to keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Claiming your warranty
Just email us at contact@statusanxiety.com with your order details, description and photo of the fault or damage and we'll take it from there.
My shoulder strap broke but I'm out of warranty. Can I buy a new one?

Care
Leather
To keep your leather looking great follow these simple tips:
- Leather Protectant: Highly recommend... it will provide an extra level of protection from staining or drying out. Our Leather Protectant is suitable on all our leather types.
- Stain Removal: Eeek! For minor marks/stains, use leather wipes or a cloth with warm soapy water.
- Grease-Free Zone: Be mindful of avoiding contact between your leather and greasy hands, or hands recently treated with lotion.
- Colour Preservation: For lighter leather colours (like Chalk), be careful not to rub it too much on dark materials with low colour fastness (raw denim etc)
- Sunlight Caution: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can lead to colour fading and leather dryness, so it's best to keep your leather out of the sun for extended periods.
- Storage: When your leather is not in use, avoid it being squashed under something as it will take some time to go back into shape. Storing it inside its dust bag or box is a good idea... It's like a rejuvenating nap for your prized possession.
Sunnies
We’d suggest storing your sunnies in a protective case when not in use, and where possible avoid excessive heat and salt water. Cool leather sunnies cases available here.
Apparel
We’d suggest a cold gentle machine wash. To avoid excessive shrinkage and extend your products life we'd advise against tumble drying. Hang it out with love on the washing line instead.
Felt Hats
Store so that the brim sits on a flat surface, out of the sun's direct gaze. If it needs a little cleaning, a damp cloth should do the trick. And if the brim decides to take on a new shape, a bit of steam will set things right.
Caps/Bucket Hats
We’d suggest a cold hand wash for these guys, and always dry flat in the shade.
